Premiere Date Confirmed For The Bridge Season 4

DR and SVT have announced that that the fourth and final season of The Bridge will premiere January 1st 2018.

SVT Head of Drama & Film, Anna Croneman, told Expressen: “Yes, I can confirm that The Bridge season 4 will premiere on New Year’s Day… It will be a brilliant series finale, really something to look forward to.”

Little is known about the new eight-part season which began filming in November, but Sofia Helin and Thure Lindhardt will reprise their roles as Saga Norén and Henrik Sabroe. The action will pick up around a year-and-a-half after the end of season three.

Series creator, Hans Rosenfeldt, told Aftonbladet last August: “I’m not going to say much… but we must take care of the story of Henry’s daughters that he and Saga went looking for – we need to finish that story. Otherwise it would just be another case involving Denmark and Sweden.”
