Premiere Set For Pros And Cons Season Two

Viaplay has announced that season two of Pros And Cons (Friheden), starring Lars Ranthe and Lene Maria Christensen as a pair of grifters living in the suburbs, will premiere on 22nd November.
In season two, Erik (Lars Ranthe) and Nina (Lene Maria Christensen) have gone back to their old ways as con artists and are trying to make their work fit around family life in the suburb of Friheden, while their daughter Esther and boyfriend Patrick have fled to Bolivia with all the money from the heist in season one.
But when Esther and Patrick are robbed of their money and left alone in the Bolivian jungle, Erik and Nina are forced to turn to their old partner Jacqueline (Lotte Andersen) for help, leading them to their biggest job yet which takes them from the polished floors of the beauty industry through to the corridors of political power.
Executive producer, Meta Louise Foldager Sørensen, said: “Screenwriter Thor Bjørn Krebs and director Mikkel Serup have created a universe that is incredibly lovable, and which fascinates, infuriates and surprises in equal measures. This time it’s in a new international arena, where our main characters encounter powerful fashion magnates with higher stakes, which provides an even greater contrast to their ordinary lives in the suburbs.”
Pros And Cons season two comprises eight episodes and premieres 22nd November across the Nordic region on Viaplay. The first season has been picked up by SBS in Australia, Canal+ in France and Topic in the US and Canada.
