Premieres Confirmed For New Beck Films in 2018

Peter Haber returns as Martin Beck on New Year’s Day for the first of four brand new Beck films, which will premiere on C More throughout Spring 2018.
As the new films begin, Beck is still adjusting to the idea of a quiet retirement. Peter Haber previously teased: “He returns as a kind of consultant. He will not be in the same position he was before – that is to say leading a police squad. Orders will be shared out. He will have one foot in and yet, not really.”
Several familiar characters will return, including Kristofer Hivju as Steinar Hovland, Måns Nathanaelson as Oskar, Anna Asp as Jenny , Elmira Arikan as Ayda, Jonas Karlsson as Klas Fredén, and Rebecka Hemse as Beck’s daughter Inger. Beck’s neighbour Grannen, played by Ingvar Hirdwall, is also back having featured in all 38 films so far.
Head of Drama for C More, Josefine Tengblad, said: “It is beyond compare how Beck has continued to deliver after 20 years! The series has broken several viewer records and our recent premieres have been a huge success for C More and TV4. That’s why we are pleased to present four brand new films with our beloved characters – and maybe one or two surprise guest appearances.”
The C More premiere dates are as follows: Ditt eget blod on 1st January, Den tunna isen on 3rd February, Utan uppsåt on 3rd March, and Djävulens advokat on 7th April. They will all air later on TV4.
