Linda’s world is turned upside down when she is arrested and detained for a vicious assault that leaves her father in a coma. With no help forthcoming from her family, she is sent to the Women’s Prison of Iceland.

Linda is appalled by the poor conditions of the prison where there seems to be very little prospect of reform, and feels that it’s just a detention centre for damaged women with a ready supply of sedatives.

Initially, Linda maintains her drug habit but gradually realises that she must sober up and face the root cause of her misfortune – a dark secret that she’s been harbouring for years.

Although it could tear her family apart, Linda must speak out, but that’s not easy to do when you’re locked up in prison and have lost all credibility…
