Producer Reveals Beck To Return For Four New Films
Series producer Tomas Michaelsson of Filmlance has revealed to Expressen that four new Beck films are to be made, which will premiere on C More in 2018 and then air later on TV4.
After last year’s premiere of Beck: The Last Day it seemed that the future of the franchise was uncertain, but in an email to Expressen, Michaelsson stated in no uncertain terms: “shooting begins this spring and it will premiere in 2018.”
Expressen sought clarification as to whether Peter Haber and Kristofer Hivju would reprise their roles as Martin Beck and Steinar Hovland in the new films, but were told that no official casting details would be revealed at this time.
