Pros And Cons For Viaplay’s First Danish Original

MTG’s Nordic streaming service Viaplay has announced that its first Danish original will be ten-part drama Pros And Cons (Friheden), starring Lars Ranthe (The Commune) and Lene Maria Christensen (The Legacy).
Erik (Ranthe) and Nina (Christensen) live a quiet family life in the suburbs of Copenhagen while trying to conceal their dramatic past as Denmark’s most notorious con artists. But they soon find themselves juggling parental meetings and mortgages with their biggest con so far.
Head of Program Development for MTG, Jakob Mejlhede, said: “Danish audiences love great drama, and Erik and Nina’s efforts to balance domestic life with one final grand con will captivate viewers from the very first episode.”
“Our goal is to be the Nordic region’s leading producer of original drama, and our slate of original series now covers unique stories from Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and the United States.”
Pros And Cons, written and created by Thor Bjørn Krebs and and Mikkel Serup, premieres across the Nordic region on Viaplay in 2018, and will air later on TV3.
