Ragnarok Sets Course For Netflix In New Trailer

Netflix has revealed its first official full trailer for six-part Norwegian original Ragnarok, written and created by Adam Price (Borgen), which is set to premiere on 31st January.
Ragnarok is a modern day coming of age drama rooted in Norse mythology set against the backdrop of a high school in the small fictional town of Edda, in the middle of the vast Norwegian countryside.
Through the inhabitants of Edda, who may not all be who they claim to be, the series invites us to experience a drastically changing world: melting poles, warm winters, violent downpours. Some say that we’re headed for yet another Ragnarok, unless someone intervenes in time…
Ragnarok stars David Stakston as Magne, Jonas Strand Gravli as Laurits, Theresa Frostad Eggesbø as Saxa, Herman Tømmeraas as Fjor, and Emma Bones as Gry. The cast is rounded out by Henriette Steenstrup, Odd-Magnus Williamson, Synnøve Macody Lund, Bjørn Sundquist and Gísli Örn Garðarsson.
