Netflix has revealed a trailer ahead of its February premiere for Swedish action thriller Red Dot, starring Nanna Blondell (Hassel), about a romantic hiking trip that descends into nightmare.
Red Dot follows David (Anastasios Soulis) and Nadja (Nanna Blondell), a couple in their late twenties who have been struggling with their marriage. So, when Nadja discovers that she is pregnant, they attempt to rekindle their relationship with a ski hike in the north of Sweden.
But, after a quarrel with two local hunters, the romantic trip slowly turns into a nightmare. A red laser dot appears in the couple’s tent, forcing them to flee into the unforgiving wilderness with their hunters in pursuit, and to compound matters their past also comes back to haunt them.
The cast also includes Tomas Bergström (Beartown) as Rolle, Kalled Mustonen (Before We Die) as Jarmo, Johannes Bah Kuhnke (The Rain) as Einar, Thomas Hanzon (Hamilton) as Tomas, and Anna Azcárate (The Hunters) as Mona.
Red Dot, directed by Alain Darborg, premieres 11th February 2021 on Netflix.
