ROY JACOBSEN | NEWS
Roy Jacobsen was born in 1954 and is one of the most celebrated and influential contemporary writers in Norway. He has twice been nominated for the Nordic Council’s Literary Award: for Seierherrene in 1991, and Frost in 2003.
In 2009, Jacobsen was shortlisted for the Dublin Impac Award for The Burnt-Out Town of Miracles, and in 2017 he was shortlisted for the Man Booker International Prize for the first in his Helgelands trilogy, The Unseen.
