Sidse Babett Knudsen Back Home With 150 Milligrams

Sidse Babett Knudsen’s (Borgen) 2016 French movie 150 Milligrams (La fille de Brest), which has been compared favourably to Erin Brockovich, makes its way to the shores of Scandinavia this month.

In a hospital in Brest, lung specialist Irène Frachon (Sidse Babett Knudsen) establishes a direct link between suspicious deaths and the consumption of Mediator, a drug that has been on the market for 30 years.

Inspired by real events, this David and Goliath story has confidential beginnings that develop into a media frenzy, and climaxes in a victory for truth.

Kvinnan från Brest / Kvinden fra Brest / Kvinnen fra Brest opened 21st July in Sweden, and will premiere in Denmark on 3rd August and 25th August in Norway.
