Skam Legacy Continues With Youth Drama Lovleg

Global phenomenon Skam may have come to an end in Norway last year, but auditions have already begun for its successor which has a working title of Lovleg.
In common with Skam, the new series will primarily be an online drama for NRK P3 starring young, local actors. However, it moves the action from Oslo to the countryside of Western Norway and the key theme this time is the challenges youngsters face when they move out into the world and are forced to stand on their own two feet.
Filming will take place from June through until August at the Firda Upper Secondary School in the small Norwegian town of Sandane, which has a population of just 3000 people. Firda Tidend reports that 80-90 youngsters have been auditioned so far, but there is still some way to go before final casting.
Casting manager, Siri Helene Müller, said: “There is a lot of work to do after reviewing auditions and giving feedback, and yet further rounds of casting, before we are finally left with those who will be offered the roles.”
Lovleg will premiere 19th August 2018.
