Søren Malling Confirmed For Dicte Season 3

Søren Malling (The Killing, Borgen) and Stine Stengade (Edderkoppen) have been added to the cast of the Danish crime series Dicte Season 3, which is due to start filming on October 19.

In this new 10 episode series journalist Dicte Svendsen (Iben Hjejle) travels from Aarhus to Lebanon and Syria to cover crime stories. The third season is written by Dorte W. Høgh and Ida Maria Rydén, and Kasper Gaardsøe will direct the first four episodes.

The series is based on the Elsebeth Egholm’s series of novels, and averaged an audience of over 1.2 million for season one when it premiered on TV2 Danmark, giving it a viewing share of 49%. UK viewers can look forward to watching the series from the very beginning in early 2016 as it has been picked up by Channel 4 as part of the Walter Presents foreign language strand.
