The Guilty Sells Worldwide Ahead Of Danish Premiere

Gustav Möller’s debut feature The Guilty (Den skyldige), a psychological thriller set in real time at an emergency call centre, has been sold to 90 countries ahead of its Danish premiere on 14th June.

When police officer Asger Holm (Jakob Cedergren) is demoted to desk work, he expects a sleepy shift as an emergency dispatcher. But that all changes when he answers a distressed call from a kidnapped woman who abruptly disconnects.

Asger, confined to the police station, is forced to use others as his eyes and ears as the severity of the crime slowly unfolds. As he searches for the missing woman and her assailant, a ticking clock and his own personal demons conspire against him.

The Guilty won the World Cinema Dramatic Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, and has now been sold to 90 countries including the United States, England, Italy, France, Spain, Germany and China.
