The Lawyer Joins Forces With Arch Enemy For Season Two
When season two of The Lawyer (Advokaten) opens on Viaplay next month, Frank (Alexander Karim) has just been released from custody and dreams of starting a new life. But the past refuses to let him go, and a frightening revelation forces him to go against all his principles and cooperate with his worst enemy.
Frank can’t let go of the guilt he feels for his part in the fate of Waldman’s daughter and starts to investigate her death. As a result, he is forced to join forces with his worst enemy as his quest for the truth leads him deep into Denmark’s corrupt legal system. But just how long can the arch enemies remain friends?
Alexander Karim said: “When we finished the first season of The Lawyer, I said that it was the most rewarding role of my life. That is no longer true – season two has now taken first place.”

Most of the original cast join Alexander Karim for season two including Malin Buska, who plays Frank’s sister Sara Khalil, alongside Danish stars Thomas Bo Larsen (Follow The Money) as Thomas Waldman and Nicolaj Kopernikus (The Killing) as Sven-Erik Wisen.
Season two of The Lawyer comprises eight episodes and premieres 10th May across the Nordic region exclusively on Viaplay.
