The Sandhamn Murders Confirmed For Season Eight

The Sandhamn Murders (Morden i Sandhamn), which returned to C More and TV4 this month for its seventh season, has been confirmed for an eighth season and filming is already underway.

The current season saw the characters’ lives begin to diverge and live in parallel to the best-selling novels by Viveca Sten and season eight will continue this trajectory. Nicolai Cleve Broch will return alongside series star Alexandra Rapaport as the temperamental but charming police officer who discovers that the beautiful archipelago is anything but quiet.

Executive producer, Sonja Hermele, said: “It is really nice to see that The Sandhamn Murders continues to attract large audiences both linearly and on C More. The latest season is great and we are proud of our creators and their ability to draw the audience into a series that feels more current season after season.”

Filming for season eight of The Sandhamn Murders will take place in three blocks through until October 2021, and a date for its premiere will be announced at a later date.
