The Square Nominated At 30th European Film Awards

Ruben Ostlund’s Cannes winner and Oscar contender, The Square, has been nominated for Best European Comedy at the 30th European Film Awards.
The film follows Christian (Claes Bang), the successful curator of a modern art museum. A few days before the opening of a prestigious exhibition he is mugged, so embarks on a hunt for the perpetrator and ends up in situations that make him question his own moral compass.
The Square will face competition from King Of The Belgians directed by Jessica Woodworth & Peter Brosens), Vincent And The End Of The World (Vincent) by Christophe van Rompaey, and Welcome To Germany (Willkommen bei den Hartmanns) by Simon Verhoeven.
The winner, to be decided by a poll of 3,000 European Film Academy members, will be announced during a gala presentation on Saturday 9th December in Berlin.
