The Winners Are Revealed For 2017 Gullruten Awards

On Friday the winners of the 2017 Gullruten Awards, which pays tribute to the Norwegian television industry, were announced in a ceremony hosted by Sigrid Bonde Tusvik at Grieghallen in Bergen.
Valkyrien, which is heading to Walter Presents in The UK and USA, won Best Drama against worthy competition from Netflix sensation Nobel and Scandinavian favourite Skam. The series also claimed Best Actor for Pål Sverre Hagen, who plays doomsday fanatic Leif.
Ellen Dorrit Petersen, who won Best Actress for her role in Aber Bergen, said in her acceptance speech: “I’ll start by thanking the coolest crowd. It’s not you Aber Bergen, but my little family. They travel around with me so I can do the things I love, together with those I love.”
