From the director of The Killing, Those Who Kill is based on an original idea by best-selling Danish crime novelist Elsebeth Egholm. It originally aired as five two-part stories in Denmark, and was concluded by the feature film Fortidens skygge, but has since been shown as a six part series in many countries.
Criminal commissioner Katrina Ries Jensen and legal psychiatrist Thomas Schaeffer are part of a unique police unit investigating a series of gruesome serial killings. As they embark in a race against time to track down the killer they must develop an understanding of the victims and of the killer s psychology, and only then can they hope to catch him.
