Those Who Kill To Return For Season Three

Viaplay has announced that psychological crime thriller Those Who Kill (Den som dræber – Fanget af mørket), starring Natalie Madueño as a criminal profiler forced to confront the darkest recesses of the human psyche, will return for an eight-part third season.
When a middle-aged couple is brutally murdered, psychologist Louise Bergstein (Natalie Madueño) joins the police in their hunt for the perpetrator and is determined to remain on the team despite suffering anxiety from her previous case. The investigation leads her and detective Frederik Havgaard (Simon Sears) to a desperate young man with a dark secret, and Louise herself is confronted by a personal darkness.
Natalie Madueño said: “Louise endured a traumatic experience in the previous season, and now she is feeling the full effects. This time, we meet a much more vulnerable and human version of Louise who is forced to confront her own inner demons and her past… and decide how she wants to live in the future.”
Viaplay Chief Content Officer, Filippa Wallestam, added: “Nordic noir has become a global screen phenomenon because of productions such as Those Who Kill. This is stylish, unnerving and completely compelling entertainment. I can guarantee the new season will take the show to yet another level, with a lead character whose complexity just keeps deepening and a shocking twist halfway through.”
Those Who Kill season three, written by Ina Bruhn and directed by Mads Kamp Thulstrup, is currently filming in Copenhagen and Roskilde and is set to premiere on Viaplay across the Nordic region in early 2023.
