Tomas Ledin Musical Gets ABBA Treatment

Deadline has revealed that A Piece Of My Heart (En del av mitt hjärta), the forthcoming jukebox musical featuring the songs of Tomas Ledin, is set for an international release with an English dub arranged by ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus.

In A Piece Of My Heart, Malin Åkerman (Billions) plays Sensuella Isabella, a powerful woman who works in Stockholm’s financial district. But when she returns to her hometown for a wedding, she enters into a love triangle with an old flame (Christian Hillborg) and his fiancée (Shima Niavarani), and is forced to learn a few lessons about life.

Whilst Tomas Ledin composed the original score and Swedish lyrics upon which the film is based, Björn Ulvaeus has arranged new versions of the songs with English lyrics recorded by the original cast.

A Piece Of My Heart is directed by Edward af Sillén with a cast that also includes Jonas Karlsson, Johan Ulveson, Pernilla August, Per Andersson and Johan Rheborg. It premieres in Sweden on Christmas Day 2019.
