Trailer For Susanne Bier Netflix Movie Bird Box

Netflix has released a trailer for Susanne Bier’s (The Night Manager) post apocalyptic thriller Bird Box, which stars Sandra Bullock (Speed) and John Malkovich (Dangerous Liaisons).

Adapted by Eric Heisserer (Arrival) from the debut novel by Josh Malerman, the story is set in the near future where a mother (Sandra Bullock) and her two young children have survived an alien invasion which has driven mankind to violence and decimated the world’s population.

Now the family must flee down a treacherous river to the one place left that may offer sanctuary. But to survive, they must undertake a perilous two-day journey blindfolded through a post-apocalyptic world in which they must rely on their wits and keen hearing to survive…

Bird Box will be available to stream on Netflix and opens in selected theatres on 21st December 2018.
