Trailer For Tomb Raider Starring Alicia Vikander

The first official trailer has been released for Roar Uthaug’s (The Wave) Tomb Raider, starring Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl) as Lara Croft in a reboot of the movies spawned from the video game franchise.

Lara Croft is a 21-year-old bike courier, the daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished seven years before. Determined to forge her own path, she refuses to take the reins of her father’s global empire and is driven to solve his mysterious death.

Lara leaves everything she knows behind in search of her father’s last-known destination: a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan. But her mission will not be an easy one; just reaching the island will be extremely treacherous.
