Trine Dyrholm To Thrill As Queen Of Hearts

Trine Dyrholm (The Legacy) and Magnus Krepper (Liberty) have just completed filming for Queen Of Hearts (Dronningen), directed by May el-Toukhy, in a tale of human desire and the power of lies.

Anne (Trine Dyrholm) is successful and uncompromising in her work as a lawyer and happily married to doctor Peter (Magnus Krepper) with whom she has two daughters. But when she seduces his 17-year-old son Gustav (Gustav Lindh), everything is thrown into jeopardy.

It’s a story of falling from grace about a woman who should know better, who makes a series of decisions that have fatal consequences. It also asks if we can carry on when someone else’s life has been sacrificed to save our own?

Written by May el-Toukhy and Maren Louise Käehne (Long Story Short), Queen Of Hearts is slated for a theatrical release at the end of March 2019.
