Norway’s Unge Lovende To Return For Third Season

Ahead of its season two premiere on January 20th, NRK has announced that a third season of of Unge Lovende (Young & Promising) has been commissioned and is already written.
Unge Lovende, based on the personal experiences of its writer Siri Seljeseth, has been compared favourably to the US series Girls, and follows three women in their 20s trying to find themselves in Oslo amongst a myriad of social expectations, ambitions and shattered dreams.
The first series averaged 672,000 viewers when it aired in Norway, but was made available online first and averaged 170,000 viewers, making it NRK’s most watched drama series online. Since then it has won Best Screenplay at the 2016 Gullruten Awards, and been picked up by Walter Presents for its UK VOD service.
