Viaplay’s Swedish Dicks To Air On US Television
Swedish Dicks, starring Peter Stormare and Keanu Reeves, will air on Pop TV in the US, giving it a reach of over 80 million households. It is the first Nordic TV title to be distributed worldwide by Lionsgate, and the deal includes both the first and (forthcoming) second seasons.
Swedish Dicks is a comedy set in Los Angeles about Ingmar (Peter Stormare), a former stuntman who is trying to survive as a private investigator. His rather miserable life takes a turn when he meets Axel (Johan Glans), a former and not very successful DJ.
Together they start the private investigation agency Swedish Dicks and tackle some of the strangest cases in LA. However, when Ingmar’s past catches up with him, they are forced to solve the murder of his old stuntman friend Tex (Keanu Reeves).
Produced by MTG for its Nordic streaming service Viaplay, the ten episode first season of Swedish Dicks set new viewing records when it aired in September 2016.

The second season of Swedish Dicks begins filming in Los Angeles this summer.
