Walter Presents Dicte With Its UK Premiere On More4

Walter Presents, which launched in January across Channel 4 services in the UK, will give Danish crime procedural Dicte its UK premiere on More4 at 9pm, Friday 3rd June 2016.

Dicte follows recently divorced Dicte Svendsen (Iben Hjejle) as she decides to return to her home town of Aarhus with her daughter in tow.

Working as a crime reporter, Dicte discovers the body of a young Bosnian woman who appears to have bled to death following a Caesarean section.

Police investigator John Wagner takes an immediate dislike to Dicte and tries to keep her out of the case, but the stubborn reporter resolves to get to the truth after learning the victim wasn’t the only Bosnian woman in the city with something to fear.

Dicte is based on the Elsebeth Egholm’s series of novels, and averaged an audience of over 1.2 million for season one when it premiered on TV2 Danmark, giving it a viewing share of 49%. Two seasons have aired in Denmark so far but a third is in production.
