Walter Presents To Launch On Foxtel In Australia

Walter Presents, which showcases some of the world’s best foreign language dramas to UK and US audiences, has announced that it has partnered with Foxtel to launch in Australia on November 1st.

Walter Presents plans to offer more than 150 hours of premium foreign-language drama in its first year on Foxtel’s on demand service, Foxtel Now, with new additions every month. In addition, from mid-December, linear drama channel Showcase will give Walter Presents a Friday night slot to air its highest profile acquisitions.

The three series available at launch in Australia are: Locked Up, a Spanish drama set in a high-security women’s prison; Brazil’s Merciless, in which a serial killer infiltrates the police to play a cat-and-mouse game with the forensic psychologist tasked with tracking him down; and Vanished by the Lake, a French Noir murder mystery.
