WGN America Picks Up Michael Nyqvist’s 100 Code

As part of its move towards more cost-effective originals, WGN America has picked up twelve-part thriller 100 Code, starring Dominic Monaghan (Lord Of The Rings) and the late Michael Nyqvist (John Wick).

NYPD Detective Tommy Conley (Dominic Monaghan) is sent to advise Stockholm PD on a case of young women found dead in fields of flowers. Upon arrival he is paired with Mikael Eklund (Michael Nyqvist), a by-the-book with an aversion to American culture.

Both hate each other, but the two are quickly forced to resolve their differences and, as the murders continue, Conley and Eklund are led down a path of no return in their hunt for the vicious killer.
