Witch Hunt Scores Two Gullruten Awards

On Friday evening, Sigrid Bonde Tusvik and Morten Hegseth presented the 2020 Gullruten Awards at the Clarion Hotel in Oslo on 19th June, postponed from May due to the Coronavirus crisis.
Although NRK drama 22 July , about the 2011 terrorist attack in Norway, took the category of Best Drama, it was denied a win in the acting categories by whistle-blowing drama Witch Hunt (Heksejakt) with Ingrid Bolsø Berdal named Best Actor and Sara Khorami as Best Supporting Actor.
Witch Hunt follows Ida Waage (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal), the CFO of a law firm who has has come a long way in a tough male-dominated industry. When she finds an invoice on her desk for 450 000 Euros, she doesn’t recognise who it is for so hesitates to pay. Is it a scam, and who can she trust? Should she notify the board?
Ingrid Bolsø Berdal said: “I am very grateful to the jury and that I could represent Witch Hunt in this way… It feels good but I think such awards are strange – that a person should be honoured more than others, when TV work is so much about teamwork.”
